Thank you everyone for coming back for Chapter 3 of Dead Ringer! Unfortunately (that word again), due to the injuries Ronald and I sustained in our amazingly awesome car accident, our schedule for this chapter is going to be rough. Mostly due to the fact that neither of us can stare at a computer for more than an hour without our brains exploding. We will do our best to post a page or 2 a week, and as our health gets better, we’ll try to get back on our regular schedule.
Sorry guys! Brendon and I have had hectics weeks. We’re going to need to push the launch of Chapter 3 another week as we build a buffer of comics. June 21st is when you’ll see some Dead Ringer Proper. In the meanwhile, I’ll post some fun (debatable!) stuff.
We’ll be taking a two week break from Storyline Proper before the third chapter begins. Starting Wednesday there’ll be some lovely bonus material for your amusement. I was trying to get it together for Monday, but I’ve been feeling excessively crummy these last few days. I can’t seem to focus on anything for too long before nausea and dizziness sets in or my back gives out. I can’t even read comics or my Doctor Who novels without getting the dry heaves.
(I’m sure you don’t want to hear about these grossly depressing and depressingly gross things.)
In things that are not disgusting: I will be editing a few of the first chapter pages to get the characters at more reasonable height differentials. It’s one of the things that annoyed me with the earlier pages. Brendon’s done a really nice job of getting them in scale with one another for the second chapter. So yes! In case you were wondering why Avery and Gwen are so much shorter than Meaghan now, it’s because they are supposed to be. Another mystery solved, Ringers!

Brendon and I were in a car accident on Saturday. My right arm is killing me and my knees are bruised and welted but, hey, it could have been worse. You can see the damage to the car here.
This weeks comics should still go up on the regularly scheduled days, but we’re probably going to be late getting them finished and uploaded. So expect the new pages to appear Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Sorry about this, guys.

We’ve got four pages left in this chapter and then we’ll have a two week break from the proper comic, while we bank the Chapter 3 pages. In this break, I will be posting some things to weather the storm. We’re not popular enough to be able to post Guest Strips or fanart, so you will have to settle for a bit of Avery’s writings.
